Our story

Rosendale began quietly, at a kitchen table, with conversations we’ve shared many times as mother and daughter. We weren’t talking about trends or seasons. We were talking about everyday life, and about how the right clothing can make getting dressed feel simple rather than complicated.

From an early age, Laurelle believed that what a woman wears should feel good, both on her body and in her day. Comfort mattered. Fit mattered. So did the ease of putting something on and moving through life without having to think about it again. Anne understood this instinctively. As women grow older, our needs don’t fade. They become more defined.

In 2015, on Laurelle’s eighteenth birthday, we decided to build something together. Not fast fashion, and not clothing made to be replaced after a season, but a small family-run brand shaped by care and intention. Pieces chosen for how they feel, how they move, and how well they hold their place in a wardrobe over time.

We created Rosendale for real women and real days. For early mornings, long afternoons, and quiet evenings when comfort and confidence matter equally. Our pieces are designed to be easy to wear, gently flattering, and dependable enough to return to again and again.
