Rosendale began quietly, at a kitchen table, with conversations we’ve shared countless times as mother and daughter. We weren’t talking about trends or fashion cycles. We were talking about getting dressed each day — and how clothing can either make life easier or harder.

From an early age, Laurelle believed that what a woman wears should feel good on her body and in her life. Comfort mattered. Fit mattered. So did the feeling of calm that comes from putting something on and not having to think about it again. Anne understood this deeply. As women move through life, our standards don’t disappear — they become clearer.

In 2015, on Laurelle’s eighteenth birthday, we decided to build something together. Not fast fashion. Not pieces meant to be replaced next season. But a small, family-run brand focused on clothing chosen with care — pieces that fit comfortably, move with you, and hold up beautifully over time.

We created Rosendale for real women and real days. For mornings that start early, afternoons that stretch on, and evenings when you want to feel comfortable and still like yourself. Our pieces are meant to be easy to live in, quietly flattering, and dependable enough to reach for again and again.
